EISA’s 20th Anniversary: Goodwill messages
EISA resumed its activities in Kinshasa on the 15 June 2015 within the framework of the implementation of a 24 month project in support to 11 Civil Society Organisations.
EISA Kenya office was opened in 2010 and has since been actively engaged in implementing governance and democracy strengthening programmes.
Opened in 2007 with a specific focus on encouraging greater participation of women in decision making processes, EISA Madagascar has broadened its activities to democracy strengthening activities by working particularly with the EMB, CSOs, Parliament and political parties
EISA’s Office in Mozambique opened in August 2004, and has operated uninterrupted for 12 years now, making it the longest-running EISA country office. Its activities were focused on the electoral process, supporting electoral reforms and citizen observation, but in 2009, the area of political party strengthening was added.
Established in 2013, EISA Somalia has been implementing a four-year programme under the title of: Supporting transition, stability and democratisation in Somalia. The programme covers activities with key State and non-state stakeholders involved in the peacebuilding and state-building process
