Advocacy & Conflict for the Civil Society Support Programme

EISA is working to capacitate civil society organisations in Dipaleseng to constructively participate in the municipal development processes in their areas. This will help to ensure that municipal decisions are responsive to and reflective of local needs.The Civil Society Support Programme was launched in Ehlanzeni in 2007 and is now being initiated in Dr JS Moroka municipality in Nkangala. The workshop provides an introduction to local governance and focuses on advocacy and conflict.
