Democratic Governance in SADC

Research Methodology Workshop

EISA is hosting a methodology workshop to launch the second phase of its Democratic Governance programme. The workshop will be attended by country research coordinators from the 13 SADC nations.

The first phase, implemented by EISA in partnership with International IDEA over the past year, focused on the state of political parties in SADC. Ity is now in its final stage.
The second phase will focus on:

• representation and accountability;
• citizen participation;
• local governance; and
• economic governance.
