Democratic Consolidation in SADC

Regional workshop

for the past three years, EISA has been implementing a research project entitled Democratic Consolidation in the SADC Region. Covering almost all the SADC countries, this research programme focused on the following key aspects:

• elections
• good governance
• gender and democracy
• electoral systems
• election administration
• political parties
• conflict and elections
• democratic assistance

EISA is organizing a regional workshop to discuss the findings of the research. The workshop wil be held at the Rosebank Hotel on the 9th of March 2005.
