Note on source and figures
The Electoral Commission of Zambia switched the party affiliations of the candidates of Kabompo West constituency around. Thus, JS Chikwenda, who stood for UNIP was given as the MMD candidate and M Makayi who stood an the MMD platform was given as the UNIP candidate. Consequently the UNIP vote was overstated by 884 and the MMD vote was understated by the same amount.
