Seychelles: 1993 National Assembly election results

Elections for the National Assembly were held in July 1993.

The National Assembly consisted of 22 members elected from single member (SM) constituencies by a plurality of votes. 11 additional members were allocated on a proportional representation basis for each 10% of the vote a party achieved. A minimum of 8% of the vote is thus required for a party to be allocated a PR member (Constitution 1993, Article 78, Schedule 4).

The United Opposition was a coalition of Parti Seselwa (PS), Seychelles National Movement and the National Alliance Party (Lodge et al 2002).
