EISA Mozambique Parallel Vote Tabulation 2009

EISA in collaboration with the Electoral Observatory of Mozambique, a coalition of eight Mozambican civil society organisations, will undertake a parallel vote tabulation (PVT) exercise during Mozambique's Presidential, Legislative and Provincial elections of 28 October 2009. The PVT is based on a random sample of 998 polling stations out of a total of 12 528 (8 percent of polling stations). The PVT will use a combination of data transmission methodologies to ensure both speed, accuracy, and integrity of results.
