EISA DRC Programme Activities 2004
EISA's programme activities in the DRC have centred around the constitutional process in the DRC, as well as supporting the inclusion of international partner organisations in the political process. A draft Constitution has been developed with the collaboration of all. Without the Constitution the entire process, from the setting up of the electoral legal framework to the holding of the elections, would be on hold. Although EISA was a latecomer to the DRC, the organisation has had the greatest impact in this crucial phase of the transition. In addition to its work around the constitutional process, EISA-DRC will be focusing certain activites on preparation for the forthcoming elections.
